The emphasis of the UX design course in vancouver is the basic design process: define, explore, select, and refine. The Introduction of UX Design course focuses on the basic design process and provides a solid foundation for delivering interactive and engaging content for web and mobile applications. Students will have hands-on practice developing a series of conceptual projects that demonstrate their work towards creating a website in collaboration with other courses in this program.

This UI/UX design course includes an introduction of HTML, CSS, Sass, bootstrap and Git Hub. JavaScript for Web
This web development diploma course focuses on an in-depth approach to web development. In this course, students will explore several critical components of web programming such as Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation, event handling, functions, object creation and detection, jQuery plugin usage, form validation, timers and simple animations.
UI/UX for Web Design
In this web design diploma course, students will study user-friendly interactive design fundamentals and the importance of using a user-centered approach to design digital products. This web design course will demonstrate the design process, from the initial concept creation to a high-fidelity prototype.
Computer Graphics
This web design diploma course will provide the fundamentals of creating, optimizing, and managing graphic assets for web design and development. This web design course will introduce students to Photoshop and Illustrator. Students will learn to compose visual assets for websites through this course, including images, backgrounds, banners, and vector graphics, such as logos and icons.
Search Engine Optimization 1
This web development diploma course provides foundational knowledge for students to learn Search Engine Optimization and how to improve online exposure for websites. In this web development course, students will use tools such as Google Analytics to collect data, measure the effectiveness of SEO tactics, and practice the basics of the Google Ads network.
In this course, students will learn the ins and outs of the Wix Editor, build layouts and site structures, add elements and create galleries, interactions, animations and videos. Plus, students will also learn best practices for making your website mobile-friendly to reach a wider audience.
Students will convert HTML websites into WordPress templates and integrate WordPress with custom websites as a Content Management System. Students will install WordPress on a local host and migrate content between local and hosted servers; and look behind the scenes of a functioning website to examine concepts such as cPanel, database creation, and phpMyAdmin to set up and manage their own hosted WordPress website. This UI/UX design course will be delivered through a series of video notes.
PHP and Database
This web development diploma course focuses on using advanced JavaScript and HTML code. In this course, students will learn the foundation required for server-side programming with PHP and databases. Throughout this web development course, students will learn the logic and concepts behind databases and how to write PHP codes and generate dynamic content, connect to a database, store data in tables, and retrieve and display data from databases on web UI.
Content Management Systems
This web design diploma course covers the principles of content management systems (CMS) and the CMS platforms currently used in the market for website creation. In this web design course, students will learn to plan and design a CMS website in WordPress that leads to online exposure for businesses or products.
Students will work in the team towards a project to come up with a portfolio to use UI design to influence branding. Students will learn how to create a user-friendly experience for the end user. This means that the UI must be easy to understand and use and must be responsive to the user’s input to increase engagement and conversion rates.
